surgery went well...we just got her home and she is sound asleep already...shes doing good...in pain obviously but overall good...just wanted to keep yall updated

yeah the cuts look pretty nasty, but i'm sure they'll heal quite well. she's a trooper alright! she's still in a little pain, sleeping on and off, but over all she's doing even better than we all expected. hang in there babe!
thanks guys. i'm feeling ok, i can talk pretty well and i'm drinking a lot of fluids which is good. i haven't been able to eat much - just a few spoonfuls of soup, but with time i will feel better. my throat hurts like Hell, but James, Heather and my Mom are taking good care of me.
I'll see all you guys in a couple weeks when I'm feeling better.

although ive been playing kristis bitch and walking up and down stairs more times than i can count and having to feed her soup and forcing liquids down her throat shes actually been a pretty good patient...but man shes racking it up over here...3 dozen roses, half a dozen gerber daisies, 2 carnations, stuffed animals and balloons...

yeah i had to make sure she was well stocked with flowers! i should post a pic of the rose bouquet(s) i brought her.

this has been one hell of a recovery. i have been allergic to like 3 or 4 of the medications they gave me for pain - so i had no pain medication for several days - plus they were making me throw up - so that was just wonderful too. but i tell you what - i got a drug store goin on over here - got demerol, morphine, tylenol with codine, etc. lol too bad none of them work on me!
i feel better today - well better in comparsion to the last couple days. i just have NO energy. i'm working on eating something since i've basically eaten nothing since last Tuesday before the surgery.
